Coming off the high

Yesterday (Monday) was quite an experience for me, as I stepped into a new world of having this brand new top notch blogsite go live. The entire day was filled with amazing up's and down's.
Up's, because I was taking my photography business to the next level and down's because I was finally coming off this high I had been on for the past 3 1/2 months from being "branded". I came home from work yesterday crying happy and sad tears, but believe me, they were mostly happy tears. Tears because I was feeling just as I did when I finished my M.Ed. at APU. I had accomplished another major milestone in my life and it was time to cross another item off of my master task list of life. I was also sad because I had spent the last 3 1/2 months working on this amazing new site with two guys whom I now consider my friends. And when it was time to hang up the phone with them yesterday morning after we had gone "live", I became extremely sad. I know it isn't good-bye, as it was more like a parent sending their child off without the training wheels for the first time, and then picking up where we left off.
Going through a complete logo, branding, and website design is quite an emotional experience, but truly worth it in the end. That is why I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their business to the next level. Over the course of the next few months, I will go into some more detail about how I arrived at this point in my life and my business and I am really excited to share it with you.
Because you can't have a blog entry without a picture, I wanted to introduce to you one of our two kitties. This is Buzz. He is actually David's cat aka "the gray one" and he was just so content in front of the fire the other night, that I could not resist taking his picture. Actually, he loves to have his picture taken, so why not!
