Sierra Grace and her Mama! Azusa Children's Portraits

She is full of life and full of energy! And she will definitely tell you about everything under the sun, including all of her friends like Mr. Cuddles! Meet Sierra Grace! When I first met Sierra, she was just about two years old and we had made a weekend trip up to Yosemite for APU's High Sierra Campus. And now, she is all grown up! At the time, I had absolutely no idea that someday, I would get to photograph her and her Mom! Sierra is in love with life and she demonstrated this throughout our time together. This session was a little unique in the sense that we also needed to get some new headshots of Sierra's Mom, Diana Pavlac Glyer!
Sierra Grace entertained us throughout the session with her wonderful voice, guitar playing skills, and dancing! So talented!
Dancing and playing the guitar!
I love this image, and I gave it some extra love by using the Totally Rad Actions.
Straight out of the camera on this one! I love the innocence and love that it shows, along with the flare!
Introducing......Mr. Cuddles!
Mr. Cuddles apparently does a dance number and got Sierra to completely laugh her heart out.
The many looks of Sierra Grace

Meet, Dr. Diana Pavlac Glyer. Diana is an English professor at Azusa Pacific University and is an incredible author. She is currently in the process of writing four books and teaching full time at APU. Her latest book is, The Company They Keep: C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien as Writers in Community. If you are a C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien fan, then you definitely need to read Diana's books, follow her blog, and get to know her!
Here are two of the images she may use on her new website and marketing materials.
I want to give a special thank you to my friend Erin Weaver for doing Diana's makeup for this session! Erin was a delight to work with, and she did an amazing job!
