The Grisanti Family, Marina del Rey Family Portrait Photographer

Last week, I had the true pleasure of meeting up with the Grisanti family who traveled from all over the country in order to enjoy a great vacation here in Southern California and to have some updated family portraits done. We went to Burton W. Chace Park in Marina del Rey, which actually provided some awesome light and backgrounds. I had never been to Marina del Rey, and neither had the Grisanti family, so we sort of scored.
Chris, Suzan, Meyer (9 mo) and Elia (3 years) traveled from San Francisco. Donna & Russell (Chris & Stephen's parents) traveled from Tuscon, and Stephen aka Uncle Stephen traveled all the way from New York City.
*Thank you so much to each of you for giving me the opportunity to document your beautiful family. I hope you enjoyed the remainder of your vacation. Peace and Blessings, Tira J. |

Isn't Elia a little dream? And I especially love her dress! My favorite color! Wondering if Mom planned that.

Chris, Suzan, Elia and Meyer together. Mr. Meyer was hilarious, he was all smiles, all the time.

We had a little "incident" between Chris & Elia and Chris' lip got injured. I think Elia was trying to make the "ouchy" better.

At all of my portrait sessions, I love to ask my clients tons of questions in order to get to know them better. And I just love to ask couples how long they have been married and how they met. Suzan and Chris will be celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary this year. Happy Anniversary! I love this image!

Meet Donna and Russell. They have been married 39 years! That wasn't a typo my friends! They are still so in love and we had some entertainment in the park, so they danced a little.

One of my family favorites.

Stephen is from New York, and he was so great to have along at the session. Not only as a family member, but he worked really hard in order to get the kiddos to smile for me. Thanks Stephen!
I love this one of Meyer and Uncle Stephen having loads of fun. |

Another one of my favorites of Grandma and Elia.

Meyer was all smiles and such a happy little guy!

I saved the best for last! This is my absolute favorite from the entire session.

Two little monkeys in a tree!, Marina del Rey Children's Portrait Photographer

I met these two cuties last week and we had so much fun! I know their Mama is checking the blog daily, so here's a little sneaky peeky....
And, it's Elia's birthday, so leave her some birthday love! |

The Edwards Family, Altadena Family Portrait Photographer

Meet the Edwards family! This is their entire extended family, with Jim and Deanna the grandparents and their children's families. I had the distinct honor of photographing this gorgeous family for a special project for Anderson University. Dr. Jim Edwards is the President of Anderson University, and has been for the past 20 years. David and I had a lot of fun getting to know everyone on this gorgeous Sunday morning.
Jim and Deanna have three children and five grandchildren. Aren't they an awesome looking family? |

L to R: Eva (7), Nathaniel (8 mo), Elliot (3 1/2), Linus (3), Josie (2).

Some of you may remember this guy! Tim Hooten and his gorgeous wife Katie and their daughters Josie and Eva. I first met Tim 10 years ago at APU. Since then, he, Katie and his brother in law Todd have been writing and producing films for Blue Yonder Films. Remember the moving Hoodwinked? Yep, that's them!

One of my favorite images.

Meet Cameron and Todd with their son Linus.

"That's right, I am going to be 3 on June 3rd!" Happy Birthday Linus!

Meet Cory and Vicki with their handsome sons Elliot and Nathaniel.

I just adore Papa Jim and Grandma Deanna. They will be married 46 years this year. Wow!

Papa Jim with all the kiddos.

Papa Jim and Grandma Deanna with all the kiddos. So much fun!!

Thank you Deanna, Jim, Katie, Tim, Eva, Josie, Todd, Cameron, Linus, Cory, Vicki, Elliot and Nathaniel for such a fun morning and absolute privilege to photograph all of you. May God bless you all!! Love, Tira J.

Fraizer Family, Laguna Beach Portrait Photographer

He's back! And he is now a BIG TWO YEAR OLD!!!! Maxwell turned two on Tuesday! Happy Birthday Buddy!!!

I met Max and his parents down in Laguna for a quick portrait session before the newest addition to the Fraizer family joins them in July. We did all of the pictures around the Montage in Laguna and had a blast. I think Max was so into the sounds of the ocean and all of the new things to see that he really didn't want a whole lot to do with any of us. But, leave it to a two year old to start developing their own personality and independence. I didn't mind, just happy to photograph one of my most photographed clients right there next to the Shahbaz Quads

So focused on working with the sand.

I love this one!!! Kathy, you are gorgeous!

This was so funny. Just as Kathy was about to relax, Max poured sand down her back and down his dad's shirt.

We have an artist on our hands.

And then there will be four! Love the flare!!!

Enjoy the gallery below and be sure to let the thumbnails load. And when you watch it, you can find out the sex of the baby and their name! :)
Leave the Fraizer family a comment below so they can earn some additional prints! |

Jackie & The Peacock Theory, Upland Portrait Photographer

She's back! This time by herself! I promised Jackie that I would do a special post for her featuring her gorgeous jewelry trees. I first saw these gorgeous trees last fall when we were participating in an event at APU. And, because I LOVE jewelry, especially Brighton, I had to have one, and now I think I need another one. Jackie makes these trees and she calls her little business The Peacock Theory. Her tag line on the website is, "Let your natural instinct inspire your fashion instinct." I just love that. There is really more to the Peacock Theory than just these trees, so when Jackie has some time after she spends time with her little nephew who came into this world yesterday! Congratulations Jessica and Steve!
Featuring one of the trees... |

I am loving the different moods the pink chair can bring. Sassy, fun, fresh, elegant, you name it!

Jackie.....you are sooooo gorgeous!

Thank you Jackie for creating such a fashionable piece to display my jewelry on. Be sure to pay the The Peacock Theory a visit!
